The poodle is a highly clever, curly-coated breed. Originally developed in Germany for water retrieval. Because of its minimal shedding, their curly coat grows long and shaggy when left unwashed. Poodles have regal, affectionate, and highly loyal personalities. The colour of a poodle coat can vary virtually endlessly. Toy poodles normally measure 25cm and weigh 4kg. Miniature poodles are slightly larger, growing up to 38 cm tall and weighing up to 8 kg.
